I have started the Peace, Tolerance, and Non-Violence non-profit institution which is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization to bring these positive ideas to Muslim youths in America and Abroad. I am looking for collaborators and funding to support this effort.
We established the foundation for Peace, Tolerance, and Non-Violence to bring these ideas to Muslim youths in America and abroad through lectures, talks, discussions, and activities at Mosques, Islamic Centers, Schools, and Community Centers. The website is www.ptnv.org.
We also plan to setup Peace Centers in the largest Muslim countries to sow the values of Peace, Tolerance, and Non-Violence among the youths and young adults in these countries by working with youths from elementary to universities. The first center will be setup in Karachi, Pakistan and following one year of operations we will move on to create centers in other Muslim countries.
Our non-profit has received IRS tax exempt status for the foundation and we are seeking funding to start the projects.
We hope to start with creating lectures, talks, discussion materials, and activities with the help of experts in the areas of peace, tolerance, and non-violence. Next go to every Mosque and Islamic center in America to deliver these talks, lectures, and conduct these activities.
For the country centers we plan to setup the first center in Karachi, Pakistan. The first project we plan to do is a peace themed poetry competition in Pakistan that is judged by experts and a prize is given out to the winners.
Please let me know of any other sources and/or individuals that I can approach for funding these projects and getting this non-profit off the ground.
